Process Economics Program Report 65B
Published: May-96
As of early 1996, syndiotactic poly(meth)acrylates were produced only in laboratories. This report reviews the technology for producing highly syndiotactic poly(meth)acrylates and their properties. It also examines the process economics of a conceptual solution process for producing a highly syndiotactic polymethyl methacrylate.
This report should be useful to present and future poly(meth)acrylates
producers, as well as to thermoplastic polymer producers that want or need to
keep abreast of research and development in novel polymers.
