Senior Consultant - Chemical Economics Handbook

SRI Consulting (SRIC) is seeking a professional whose responsibility will include researching chemical markets and writing market research reports on the chemical industryfor the Chemical Economics Handbook.  Responsibilities also include providing advisory services to clients and customer service liaison; marketing reports and program to prospective clients; maintaining existing databases; and attending conferences in your specialized area.  Specialist in fibers and organic intermediates is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years industry experience in market research and/or business development or marketing; a BS or BA in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or biological sciences; an MBA is a plus; the ability to critically analyze and formulate conclusions, combined with knowledge of database and literature search; a self-starter who is flexible and can handle a variety of assignments under time and budget constraints with minimal supervision; and is a good team player.  Excellent written and oral communication and computer skills are additional requirements for this position.
